Still nice to be back. Miss the heat and the gang.

I think we need to completely break things down and start again from scratch.
Carnival prescription
Funky house, soulful house, UKG and classics (SSP Soundsystem);
Roots and culture, reggae, dub, ska, 50s R&B (Gladdy Wax’s Roadshow);
A splash of soul (Rapattack);
Classic ska, revival, New Orlean’s R&B (Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues);
More reggae and roots and dub (Aba-Shanti-I; High Grade; Channel One; King Tubby’s; Jah Observer).
Must see soundsystems. Sampled them all yesterday, with the initial aim of picking the best and staying there all day on the Monday. Alas, I could not choose. So I shall do it all over again!
Carnival beckons.
I can hear and smell carnival from my house.
Last day at work before I leave this land. Tremendous. We still haven’t lost a match! So a full weekend celebration it is. Carnival tomorrow. My send off (well I’m making it that). And also a reunion on Monday. To reminisce hilarious QK times.
